Boca is considering moving its home games to Huracán's stadium for its upcoming Torneo Clausura matches against Estudiantes and Vélez, due to the poor condition of the pitch at La Bombonera. The plan, according to the information available, would be to apply the measure only for those two fixtures.
In principle, the return to the Xeneize stadium would come afterward, when the team is back home against Recoleta in the Copa Sudamericana.
A change driven by the condition of the pitch
The possible change responds to a specific infrastructure issue: the state of the grass at La Bombonera would force the club to look for an alternative to ensure the matches in the domestic league can be played. In that scenario, Huracán's stadium emerges as the chosen option to host Boca in its next two home games.
If confirmed, the move will mean reorganizing the club's usual logistics, from access and security to the distribution of seats and general admission areas, as well as planning the operation for the players and delegation.
The focus is also on performance
