Napoli unveiled its away shirt with a video filmed in Buenos Aires
The Italian club presented its away kit with a video shot in different parts of Buenos Aires. The launch once again reinforces the bond with Argentina and with Diego Maradona.
Napoli once again leaned on its connection with Argentina to unveil next season's away shirt. After showing the home version with direct inspiration from Diego Maradona's spell as a player at the club, it has now added another nod with a video filmed in Buenos Aires.
A launch with a Buenos Aires stamp
The presentation of the away kit was backed by images recorded in different parts of the city. Among the selected locations are La Boca, Plaza de Mayo and other landmarks in the Argentine capital, in a setup that strengthens the symbolic connection between Napoli and the country.
The immediate precedent had been the unveiling of the home shirt, inspired by Maradona's time as a player at the club. With this new piece, the institution added another chapter to that conceptual line, now from the perspective of the away strip.
A new chapter in the bond with Argentina
Beyond the design itself, the focus of the presentation was on sustaining and emphasizing the emotional tie with Argentina and with the figure of Maradona, one of the most significant names in the club's history.
The launch confirms that Napoli continues to use Argentine references as part of its recent visual identity. First with the home shirt and now with the away model, the club's bet follows the same thread: a close relationship with the footballing imagery that Maradona left in Italy and in the memory of the fans.
