With matchday 13 underway, the annual table is already starting to show which teams are positioning themselves to fight for the 2027 cups. At the top, the margin is minimal and every result matters: Boca ended the day as leader, while Lanús took a solid step toward moving into an international qualification spot.
Boca took the lead and is already eyeing the Sudamericana
The biggest move of the day came from Boca. After the 2-1 win over Talleres and Independiente Rivadavia's draw with Tigre, the Xeneize side finished as leader of the annual table.
At the same time, the club has already turned its attention to the second leg of the Copa Sudamericana semifinals. In addition, Boca posted a video of Leandro Paredes training, a sign that fueled hopes of having its captain available for the next match.
Lanús moved into Sudamericana territory
Another major development came from Vicente López. Lanús stood firm, beat Platense 1-0 and managed to move into the places that grant access to CONMEBOL tournaments for 2027.
The Granate won thanks to Allan Wlk's first-half goal and, in addition to holding onto its place in the playoff race, took a key leap in the cumulative table.
The picture at the top is still changing
The battle is far from over. The annual table remains a live board and the matchday results are shifting everything. For now, the picture leaves Boca on top and Lanús well placed in the fight for international berths.
