A key match for the Annual Table

Boca’s focus is on an immediate objective: earn a victory in a tight finish to the tournament, with first place in the Annual Table as the main target in the final stretch of the season.

The build-up is also shaped by the fans’ anticipation, as they will once again back the team after the celebration against River. That combination of a recent result, home advantage and competitive need explains why the match against Defensa y Justicia stands out as one of the most important stops on xeneize’s recent schedule.

What the build-up shows

The immediate context for Boca can be summed up in three concrete points:

• they come off a big win against River;
• they play at home against Defensa y Justicia;
