Stones Thrown at Belgrano’s Bus on Arrival at Kempes Before the Clásico with Talleres
Belgrano’s squad was attacked with stones on its arrival at Mario Alberto Kempes for the clásico against Talleres. Although no one was injured, the bus was visibly damaged ahead of matchday 11 of the Torneo Clausura.
The Córdoba clásico had a heated and worrying build-up: the bus carrying the Belgrano squad was struck by stones on arrival at the Mario Alberto Kempes. According to reports, no one was injured, but the vehicle was visibly damaged before the clash against Talleres for matchday 11 of the Torneo Clausura.
A build-up marked by tension
The attack took place as part of the pre-clásico security operation, when the Pirata delegation arrived at the stadium. The scene contrasted with the celebration that, hours earlier, both Belgrano supporters and those of the T had experienced with the organized send-off rallies to see off their teams.
The incident was captured on video and showed the bus with visible damage, a detail that marred a day already charged with anticipation for the clash between Córdoba’s two giants.
