Independ. Rivadavia beat Estudiantes de Rio Cuarto 2-1 at Estadio Juan Bautista Gargantini. The difference was in the production: 2.4 goal chances to 0.5 and 65% possession for the home side.
Lanús controlled more of the possession and created more chances to score, but Unión was more effective in the decisive stretches. The 2-1 was explained by the home side’s ruthlessness and a sharper read of the game’s key moments.
