The club is working on the pitch at the Alberto J. Armando with the goal of getting it back in time for the next fixture. The state of the grass has once again drawn attention while the squad remains focused on the Torneo Clausura and the race for continental places.
Rosario Central prevailed 2-1 at the Gigante de Arroyito, with a big gap in possession and in what it created: 72% to 28% and 2.3 scoring chances to 0.7. Aldosivi, even with less of the ball, was sharper in front of goal and produced an extremely efficient attacking performance.
Lanús controlled more of the possession and created more chances to score, but Unión was more effective in the decisive stretches. The 2-1 was explained by the home side’s ruthlessness and a sharper read of the game’s key moments.
The 0-0 left a clear takeaway: Tigre produced more chances than Belgrano, even if it failed to turn them into a goal. A. Sanchez’s red card in the 87' closed out a tight, physical match.
