Unión won the possession battle and had more shots, but Central Córdoba (SdE) was more clinical and took the 2-1 at Estadio 15 de Abril. The numbers for chances created favored the home side, though the visitors made the most of their moments.
Banfield and Belgrano finished level in possession and with similar numbers in chances created, but the difference was in finishing. Goals from L. Passerini and L. Lopez tipped a match that left the better reward for the visitors.
Argentinos Juniors’ 2-1 win over Racing was backed by a clear gap in production: 66% possession, 21 shots and chances for 2.7 goals. The early red card to Adrián Martínez, in the 21', marked a turning point in a match that still featured a period of real competition.
After the 1-1 draw against Vélez in the Torneo Clausura, Boca is already shifting its focus to the match against Recoleta in the Sudamericana, with the idea of building on the recovery started against Estudiantes.
